This is almost the identical problem I had after updating to OS 10.15.6, so I am inclined to think this latest update is causing a similar issue. I've rebuilt the volume directory twice, with no luck. While all of this has gone on, I have had one external drive fail (may or may not be related), and another that was being written to when the issue happened, resulting in a scrambled directory. Nothing in the Crash log, so that's no help. I've also checked the Console logs to try to identify any obvious problem to someone who doesn't speak computerese, with nothing other than a string of statements about killing an operation. I've run a suite of tests on the computer hardware, every one of which has passed so a hardware issue is unlikely. Sometimes I've had the Apple Watch vibrate as it usually does when unlocking the screen, suggesting some functions are still running - but the screen stays dark. The difficulty is it typically occurs somewhere between 24 to 48 hours after rebooting, with no obvious trigger other than the screen has gone to sleep as per schedule. I have followed up with their support people to be absolutely sure, but capturing a log as it happens in difficult. After extensive tests, I have concluded that problem does not lie with Intego.
